Overview
Unleashed, released May 12, 2010, is the second HGSS expansion with 96 cards. It continued the LEGEND card tradition with legendary beast pairings — Entei & Raikou LEGEND and Suicune & Entei LEGEND. The set also featured Prime cards and competitive staples for the HGSS format.
Best for
- Gen IV collectors sorting reverse holos and early modern chases

Common mistakes
If you only remember one thing about Unleashed: Tyranitar Prime / Prime is not interchangeable with every other print of those Pokemon. People still get burned by lumping every Diamond & Pearl–era set under one “DP” price sheet, then argue condition after they already overpaid. Confirm hgss2 / the set symbol before comps — “DP / Platinum era lot” language is how wrong products get mixed.
