02 How can I tell if my Gen 1 card is first edition?
Look for the "Edition 1" stamp on the bottom-left of the card art. Shadowless cards lack the dark shadow on the right side of the illustration frame — shadowless was the short first English print run before shadow printing was added. Pokex identifies both instantly via camera scan.
03 Are Gen 1 cards still being reprinted?
