2000年8月14日に発売されたGym Heroesは、ジムリーダーをテーマにした2つの拡張のうちの1作目です。Misty、Brock、Lt. Surge、Erika、Blaineといったカントーのジムリーダーに紐づく132枚のカードを収録しています。各リーダーには専用のポケモンのラインナップとトレーナーカードが用意されています。
