Generation IX: Terastallize
Generation IX features the Paldea region and Terastal Pokémon — variants that change their type for battle via a crystallized crown. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launched in November 2022, with The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLC in 2023. Pokemon-ex (lowercase — evolved forms allowed again, 2-prize Pokémon) replaced V/VMAX/VSTAR.
